Who runs HushViewer

The operator
HushViewer is a small independent project, run by a handful of people. We sign our work with the brand, not our own names. No parent brand sits above it, and no set of look-alike sites sits beside it. So judge it on what you can test: how it behaves, what it refuses, and whether the inbox answers. Questions about anything on this page reach the people behind it at the address further down.
What it is for
You should be able to look at somebody’s public Instagram profile the way you look at any other public web page: in a browser, without joining anything. People check a profile before a first date, a sale, an interview or a reply, and most of them never want to sign up for the platform to do it. Giving your login to some site that offers to sign in for you is worse. HushViewer exists so that neither is necessary.
Lines we do not cross
Locked profiles stay locked; no outside tool can open them, and we do not pretend otherwise. We will never ask for your Instagram login. We keep no history of your lookups, and we do not generate indexable pages about people just because someone searched for them. There is no data for sale because we gather none. Lookups run through an outside data source, and our privacy notice states what it gets.
Independence
HushViewer has no tie to Instagram; Meta Platforms, Inc. owns the Instagram trademark.
